A couple of shots…

Last week, I had a shoot, doing model portfolio shoots, digitals.

Now, if you’ve taken a look at digitals, you’ll find that they’re about the most boring shots you can undergo. Nearly no creativity involved.

Neutral background, flat lighting with just a bit of contrast for depth, mostly neutral expressions. Boring.

And that’s not the model’s fault, or the photographer’s, just what the industry expects. They want to see skin texture, pose body type, that sort of thing. See what kind of canvas they have, that they can market.

So, we delivered that, but then I went and went back in, did some editing. Not much. Saturation, vibrance, a little texture and skin correction.

So, I’m gonna let you take a look, and see the difference. Take a look!

Not bad for a relatively little bit of work, huh?
